The Allied Horn section has toured and recorded with many top acts including, THE TEMPTATIONS (DAVID RUFFIN, EDDIE KENDRICKS, DENNIS EDWARDS), THE 4 TOPS, FRANK SINATRA, TONY BENNET, BILLY PRESTON, LITTLE ANTHONY, SHIRLEY AUSTIN REEVES, DION, CHUCK BERRY, BO DIDLEY, GARY U.S. BONDS, CHUBBY CHECKER, THE DOVELLS, THE PLATTERS, THE COASTERS, FRANKIE AVALON, BOBBY RYDELL, FABIAN, FRANCINE REED (of the LYLE LOVETT BAND) etc.... The section has also been featured with NAXOS JAZZ recording artist EDGARDO CINTRON, along with having a long standing relationship with one of Philadelphia's top producers, DAVID IVORY of IVORY PROD.(SIGMA SOUND Philadelphia PA), whose most recent credits include ERYKAH BADU, and THE ROOTS.
The ALLIED
HORNS are one of the most versatile sections on the scene today. The core of
the section features, JEFF VON STENZ on Trumpet, Fluglehorn and Valve Trombone,
Jeff has his own CD out on the NAXOS JAZZ label. CARL
FISHER on Trumpet, Fluglehorn and Valve Trombone, Carl is a featured soloist
on the last 3 MAYNARD FERGUSON CDs, GARY LEE ROSENBERG, on Trombone, in addition
to being one of the busiest arrangers on the East Coast, Gary Lee is a former
member of the FOUR FRESHMAN, and TONY WHITE on all the saxes , flutes and clarinets.
The section is available for live performance and recording gigs.
